To begin your rental, please use the following instructions: Please note that the ICE AID is only available for rental with a single wrap included, if you need two wraps and the dual hose for cooling tendons please go to the purchase page. DELIVERY
All prices quoted include delivery, collection and VAT. Please note that processing takes 12 to 24 hours, and deliveries are not made over the weekend. We do ask that on the day of delivery someone is available at the given address between 9 am and 5 pm.
The courier company will endeavour to send an email or text giving more accurate timings on the day of the delivery or collection. We use DPD next day delivery.
COLLECTION
At the end of the hire period we will make contact with you to arrange the collection of the device or to extend the hire period. You also have the option to purchase the unit at the end of your rental period where the total amount you have paid will be deducted from the purchase price. This is arranged on the last day of hire.
Your hire period will last for the selected dates and will be collected the day after hire end, for example, if your hire period is from the 11/06/26 – 25/06/26, it will be collected on 26/06/26. We are not able to provide a specific time for collection but the courier will contact you on the day of collection with a morning or afternoon slot for collection.
We do ask that on the day of collection (the day after hire end) someone is available at the given address between 9 am and 5 pm. The ICE AID unit must be drained before collection. The Wrap will be kept by the customer and can be cooled in the fridge to be used as a cold wrap after the unit has been collected.
The ICE AID must be returned with the Unit, hose, plug, drain gadget, battery pack and leads and rental folder. Failure to return all the items will be chargeable.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Rental agreement: You must read this before renting the machine. Rental agreement must be signed and returned to us before a rental can commence, which will be sent to you, when you enquire. Any damage to the product will be charged to the customer. The ICE AID Rental is provided for rental on weekly tariffs only (not daily). The ICE AID Rental must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s user instructions (provided). The ICE AID Rental is the sole responsibility of the person renting for the duration of this agreement. The ICE AID Rental unit must be drained prior to collection.

The Wraps chosen will be kept by the customer and can be cooled in the fridge to be used as a cold wrap after the unit has been collected. The ICE AID is supplied for the use of the person renting it only and shall not be used with any other third party. I recommended the Ice Aid to a client for use on her eventers. It has proved very effective and easy to use and has helped in post exercise limb cooling and injury treatment. A ready supply of ice is essential.
The ICE AID must be returned in the original packaging supplied. Please apply the labels supplied by VETLIG UK and the carrier (at point of collection) to the outside of the packaging. VETLIG UK require you to comply and adhere to the requirements of the Certification of Decontamination which will be supplied with your rental unit. Any costs associated with the repair of the ICE AID due to damage (accidental or otherwise), during the period of its hire will be borne by the person renting the equipment. If the ICE AID is not returned by the agreed date, in good working condition and in its original packaging, the person renting it may become liable for the full value of the ICE AID MACHINE and any other costs involved.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
All rentals supplied to our customers have been cleaned and disinfected between users and will be supplied to you in full working order. Prices for delivery and collection are included in your total price. Delivery and collections are made from Monday to Friday only.
- Select wrap of choice and put on the horse, with connectors facing upwards on the tendon wraps.
- Fill the machine with water and the correct amount of ice.
- Attach the hose to the wraps and the machine
- Attach power and switch on.
- Use either C or F temperature display.
- Select from the 15 minute programme upwards
- Select compression level
- Start
- The machine switches of and beeps when finished. You can stop it at any time, or use the pause button to increase/decrease time or pressure.
DELIVERY & RENTAL START
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All equipment is dispatched via third-party couriers during these times. While we aim for your requested start date, next-day delivery is not guaranteed. Your rental period begins only when the device is delivered.
If a transit delay occurs, we will extend your rental at the end of the term to make up for the lost time. While specific delivery time slots are not guaranteed, couriers usually send tracking updates via text or email. A responsible adult must be available to sign for the delivery. If an attempt is missed, the courier will either reattempt the next working day or leave the parcel at a nearby collection point.
COLLECTIONS & RETURNS
We require a minimum rental period of two weeks. At the end of your hire term, please contact us to arrange for the collection of your device. To ensure fair usage, we apply an additional working day to the end of all rentals.
For example, if your device is delivered on a Friday, the collection would be on a Monday to account for the partial start. We deliver across England, Wales and Scotland; however deliveries to the Scottish Highlands may experience longer transit times. You must keep the box it was shipped in please and return it to us.
